Axion AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our") built the Axion Sleep Apnea Screener app to run entirely on your device. This privacy policy explains what information the app accesses, how it uses that information, and how your data stays under your control.
Short version: Everything stays on your device. Nothing is transmitted to us or any server.

We do not request access to your microphone, contacts, location, health app data, or any other device capability beyond those listed above.
The Mallampati throat classification model runs entirely on your device using a TensorFlow Lite model bundled with the app. No image data is ever transmitted over the network. The model processes each frame locally and outputs only a classification label (Class 1–4). Raw camera frames are discarded immediately after inference.
Questionnaire answers, biometric inputs, and results are stored locally using hardware-bound encrypted storage. The encryption key is derived from a device-specific hardware identifier, meaning the data is bound to your device and cannot be read on another device even if the storage file is extracted.

If you generate a clinical PDF report, it is created entirely on your device. The report file is stored temporarily in the app's sandboxed storage. When you share the report (via email, messaging, or any app), you control where it goes. We never receive a copy of your report.
The Axion Sleep Apnea Screener does not use:
In-app purchases (Sparks or subscriptions) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never see your payment information. Apple's and Google's privacy policies govern data collected during the purchase flow.
The Axion Sleep Apnea Screener is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We do not store, process, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). All health-related data you enter remains on your device under your sole control.
This app is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this app, please contact us and we will provide guidance on removing local data.
Because we do not collect or transmit your data, we cannot fulfill "right to access" or "right to deletion" requests on our servers — there is nothing on our servers to access or delete. To remove your data, simply uninstall the app.
We may update this policy when the app adds new features. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy when you update the app.
